Job Description

We are looking for Project Manager (Transactional Business). University Degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) in Computer science/information technology/Project Management, Business Administration or other relevant discipline. Two years of progressive experience in project development and management, with focus on monitoring, reporting, development and coordination in either public or private sector organizations is required.

Job Purpose

As Project Manager, Employee will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope. Employee is responsible for the overall customer satisfaction of all constituents who use information technology services through managing transactional projects, fixing any deliverability issues and will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.

On a day to day basis, Employee shall report to the Service Delivery Director of the Company. In furtherance thereof, Employee will devote his best efforts, including his full-time attention during business hours, to the affairs and business of the Company.

Employee further agrees to observe and comply with the rules and regulations of the Company as adopted by the Service Delivery Director, Executive Committee and the Board of Directors with respect to the performance of his duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Project Planning: Responsibility and ownership for the delivery of service and service metrics to client and concurrent meetings with customer’s managers, if needed;Lead projects by recognizing client requirements through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation if applicable;
  • Meet or contact clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility;
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring licenses (projects) are delivered on-time to clients as per agreement within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments;
  • The proper distribution and allocation of resources and the quantification of monetary risk and impact;
  • Track Progress: Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure adherence to project requirements;
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals;
  • Improve new and pre-existing processes, continually reevaluate whether each project is meeting the applicable standards and engage in problem solving with other Managers and personnel;
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs;
  • Manage Customer Relationship
  • Maintain and develop key client relationships and support quality programs with delivery of robust, independent and professional services; Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status, changes and deliverability;
  • Ensure Documentation: Establish delivery processes, contacting clients to ensure license deliverability and generate necessary documents accordingly; Issue Delivery Notes and Invoices to clients on completion of project (delivering licenses) and inform internal personnel accordingly for collection; Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • University Degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) in Computer science/information technology/Project Management, Business Administration or another relevant discipline.
  • Two years of progressive experience in project development and management, with focus on monitoring, reporting, development and coordination in either public or private sector organizations is required.
  • Professional Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP). PRINCE2 Foundation is desirable. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Communication Skills Required: Active Listening, Non-Verbal Communication,Friendliness, Trust. and Respect, Open-Mindedness, Feedback and Collaboration.
  • Personal Competencies and Attributes: Using frequent and effective communication to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
  • Personal Competencies and Attributes: Keeping abreast of new and emerging technologies, as well as other developments in the current area of my work. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
  • Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
  • Resolving any stakeholder conflict with diplomacy and tact. Determined and never giving up on something midway.
