Job Description

  • Meraya Co is looking to hire a full-time Junior Project Coordinator to join its growing team.

About Meraya:

  • Meraya is a privately owned events management company that has catered, since its launch in 2017, to execute events for organization such as the United Nations Population Fund, International Labor Organization, and the World Food Pro-gramme.

About the Job:

  • We are looking for someone responsible to perform operations and administrative roles in relation to Meraya's events and activities.
  • Junior Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with our Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for projects.
  • You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule along with administrative duties, maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries and sending timely e-mails to clients.
  • To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with the client and internal teams to deliver results on deadline.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Oversee the successful delivery of our events and activities and the successful completion of events.
  • Deal with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve.
  • Oversee project procurement management.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in related discipline.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
  • Willingness to travel.
  • An ability to prepare schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control.
