Job Description

  • Adhering to the approved budget and introducing suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations in consultation with the line manager.
  • Stimulating continuous standardization and optimization of processes and organizational structures and implementing corresponding measures in consultation with the line manager.
  • Ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
  • Documenting efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.
  • Developing new flavors applying them as part of innovation projects (ITM) as a co-project owner in collaboration with the Product Manager of the respective business unit.
  • Developing new flavors as part of B2B customer projects (BTO) and, if required, B2C customer projects as the co-project owner in collaboration with the respective Technical Project Manager.
  • Providing support in the development of a flavor strategy by continuously monitoring the market, the competitors and the customers in collaboration with Market Intelligence.
  • Analyzing market developments in the flavors segment with the aim of identifying best practices and new raw materials, technologies and product concepts.
  • Applying the guidelines and rules that are relevant to the Flavors division.
  • Implementing defined quality standards and guidelines.
  • Implementing guidelines on the execution and initiation of a diverse range of tests concerning the shelf life of and change in raw materials and B2B and B2C products in collaboration with Quality and Product Science.
  • Specifying criteria for the analysis of customer and reference products.
  • Ordering new raw materials by submitting a product request to Sourcing and specifying criteria for the analysis of the new raw materials.
  • Ensuring that recipes are created and maintained in SAP.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of product-specific substance data in SAP.
  • Evaluating and conducting measures assigned by Quality and corrective action.
  • Tasting developed products.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors in Pharmacy, Science and Biotechnology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in same field.
  • Fluent in English language, German is a plus.
  • Details-oriented and accurate.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
