Job Description
- Project Engineering Manager plans and directs all design engineers, drafters, and technical engineers working on specific projects.
- Manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs.
- Being a Project Engineering Manager oversees product construction and testing in order to ensure completion of projects as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Evaluates and approves changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
- Additionally, Project Engineering Manager monitors progress and performance against the project plan.
- Ensures the technical part of the Contract review.
- Provides instructions to the engineering team through project engineering instructions and procedures.
- Ensures the issue, the validation and the maintenance of the project equipment lists and /or other key engineering documents as applicable to each project.
- Takes the necessary technical decisions in case of unresolved conflicts between disciplines.
- Supervises the issue of engineering deliverable and approves the key engineering documents.
- Participates to project planning definition by providing engineering milestones and requirements.
- Alerts project management in case of unforeseen variation and suggests if needed mitigation measures
- Ensures effective technical coordination with Client's representatives and as such participates to good communication with Client.
- Consolidates engineering budgets based on discipline department’s budgets and controls it during the course of the project.
Job Requirements
- BSc. degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 15 years’ experience relevant professional experience.
- Capable of supervisory capacity for planning, organizing, communicating and personnel management skills.

- Previous experience in the engineering section of a construction company would be advantageous but not essential.
