Job Description
Technical writer is required to convert provided instruction into manuals, policies and procedures and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more easily.
Will also gather technical information related to Quality Management system.
Duties:
- Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation
- convert provided instruction into manuals, policies and procedures and other supporting documents
- Organize and write supporting documents for products
- Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users’ understanding
- Standardize content across platforms and media
- Revise documents as new issues arise
- Create operating instructions, how-to manuals, assembly instructions
- Will prepare end-user documentation and technical templates.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Languages/any related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- English Language Proficiency & Fluency writing is a must.
- Advanced Microsoft office Experience: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience in writing technical and business description & manuals about applications, projects & Quality.
- Experience in Design Manuals and Proposals.
- Experience in ISO Documentation is a plus.
- Having an Engineering background is a plus.
- Very good communication and research capabilities
- Knowledge of Graphical User Interface standards and guidelines is an asset
