Logistics Operations Executive

Required in IT Company a shipping operations officer:

• Communicating with import and export companies.
• Choosing the proper shipping means and methods with lowest cost.
• Calculating shipping costs and quantities, custom taxes and insurances.
• Organization of shipping methods (Trucks, ships, planes and railways).
• Planning and coordinating shipping lines and routes, and their deadlines.
• Managing the loading and unloading of goods.
• Preparing the necessary papers, insurances and statements for shipping and clarification procedures (Import and Export).
• Preparing a file for each shipment and ensure that all import and export requirements are complete.
• Following up and renewing the health statement, and issuing new statements.
• Transporting goods from and to the port.
• Managing the storage of the goods in the port.
• Carrying out shipments on-time with high efficiency.
• Following up shipments to make sure that they arrive on time.
• Maintain logistics of records.
• Making regular updates to Import shipments job requirements
• Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers, to advice of shipment details, and provide quotations
• Provide efficient delivery logistics through data management.
• Resolve problems that are related to transportation and logistics systems.
• Develop weekly tracking reports, outline/schedule for all open orders.

Work Environment:

• Location: 6 October
• Working Hours : 9:00 a.m. To 4:30 p.m
• Days Off: Friday + Saturday
