Job Description
OTS is re-structuring the technical team and immediately hiring a software development manager that has perfect experience in .Net development and capable of leading the software developers and testers to maintain existing products/services and develop new projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the team required to deliver new software or upgrade existing software products/services using .Net and Microsoft technologies
- Lead and coordinate the software developers and testers in one team
- Work closely with the team members and can take hands-on role in software development
- Understand the business domain of OTS
- Follow up the technology changes to continuously upgrade the software products
- Maintain good communications with his/her team members
- Work closely with other business managers to understand the business domain and identify the requirements of a software product
- Identify the skills needed for each development project and assign or hire the team members
- Participate in deciding the software development process of each project
- Establish schedules and ensure that teams complete tasks on time
- Monitor the progress on daily basis to review accomplishments and identify potential problems
- Monitor the quality to ensure that the products meet the technical and business objectives
- Handle the technical support requests of running projects to resolve bugs, add enhancements or make business changes in a timely responsive manner
- Report the progress to other business managers
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software development using .Net , MSSQL and Microsoft technologies
- Good documentation skills
- Good knowledge of distributed systems
