The Opportunity
- Join an independent conference producer. We create, promote and deliver a high-quality conference on MENA region scale.
The Company:

- We are searching for a highly-skilled, enthusiastic, and energetic sponsorship salesperson to take functional leadership and drive our logistics, people, processes, and performance to the next level. S/He can communicate and network for sponsors in Egypt and the Middle East as well (Jordan, Lebanon, KSA, Kuwait, and UAE)
The role involves:
- Planning – translating the sponsorship sales briefing into a commercially impactful sales plan and script, that conveys the conference value proposition with impact and engages prospect interest with immediacy
- Business development – breaking down the supplier landscape and lead generating extensively to identify a greater range of prospects and exceed the per event sales target.
- Call management – utilizing Salesforce to build and manage the sales pipeline through detailed call logging, appointment management, prospect progression, and deal closing to meet weekly and monthly sales targets
- Productivity management – making a minimum of 50 calls per day resulting in 10 effective conversations per day to build a pipeline that delivers a minimum of 1 sponsor/exhibitor per sales campaign week
- Influencing – setting an example of high performance and mentoring graduate sales recruits in preparation for eventual progression to team leadership
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2-4 years of sponsorship sales experience
- Demonstrates high call rates and well-written proposals
- Able to report figures and forecast pipeline accurately
- Creative thinker – to be able to generate ideas to improve sales, and identify new business opportunities
- Analytical skills – competitor and market analysis
- An open and honest communicator is able to work transparently with Event Manager for personal and event success
