Job Description

  • We are looking for our next Social Media Specialist Team Player! To be an essential part of our Digital Marketing team.
  • They can provide the edge and the differentiation from our competition. Social Media Specialists make regular and timely posts on behalf of our customers and set up and actively manage ad campaigns.
  • Social Media Specialists effectively communicate with internal team members and directly with customers – always leaving them with a “Wow, they know their stuff and are on top of my posts and ads!”.
  • We’re looking for a key hire(s) to help build and shape this team and get us to the next level.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Accurately managing and scheduling posts across the major social media platforms.
  • Creating and optimizing ad campaigns, maximizing conversions for our customers.
  • Find and research the latest trends and create fresh social media content that is relevant to our customers.
  • Tracking posts, followers, engagement and reports for each Project.
  • Collect and document the scoping requirements – how does each customer want their posts and ads focused.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other internal groups – including PPC/Paid Search, SEO, Sales, Support, Performance Management.
  • Identify any potential blockers to go live and bust through them – you are a problem solver and you take initiative.
  • Achieve and carry out self-development objectives assigned

Job Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 1 -3 years proven work experience with Social Media.
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks and shift gears quickly when needed.
  • Self-motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, great with people, good phone presence.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, solution-oriented.
