Job Description
- Review & correct translations done by other translators and freelancers on a wide variety of texts pertaining to the following categories: “Medical, Legal, Information Technology, Marketing, Healthcare, etc.”
- Improve documents’ language flow and readability wherever required, without losing the meaning of the original text.
- Make sure that all translated files and segments are revised and all instructions applied according to clients’ requirements.
- Providing expert advice and answer all questions related to translation projects (administrative and linguistic).
- Contribute to developing and coaching other translators in a less senior role.
- Report the translation quality and decide the necessary actions to be taken in order to evade any quality issues.
- Filling in daily reports regarding the translation quality
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree, Literature and Arts, Alsun Language And Translation are preferred.
- Excellent Command of English language.
- 3-5 Years of Experience in Translation Field.
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Experience with CAT tools (Trados, memoQ, Memsource, XTM, Wordfast, etc.)
- Familiarity with translation software.
