Job Description
- Request for quotation and evaluate offers commercially for services
- Prepare service agreements, farmout contracts, Addendums, and Amendments that may be required for any contract
- Track all changes or additions made between the company and contractors that should be documented and added to the contracts in a legal form
- Manage the preparation of contracts and collecting necessary documents and correspondence to the Commercial & Investment Director
- Review contracts with QHSSE department to undertake health and safety duties commensurate with the detailed in the HSSE policy and procedures manual
- Responsible for carrying out all the administrative work for the contracts and maintain the contracts cycle inside the company
- Handle all correspondences with the suppliers and contractors, including contracts renewals and insurance certificates renewals
- Prepare any reports required by the General Petroleum Company concerning SPEL contractors and sub- contractors’ data, and any other reports in the Contracts Department
- Coordinate between contracts department and other departments such as finance, procurement, drilling, and operations
- Develop and maintain the computerized database system spreadsheets and databases to enter information and generate reports and may produce, revise, or refine formal presentation materials, using presentation software
- Involve operational managers in the development of the contracts through effective communications, support, and partnership work to ensure that the contracting role is seen as an integral part of purchasing and operations work
Job Requirements
- Education: Master's Degree in Law or Commerce
- Previous Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas service industry,
- Legal background in Commerce, Tender Process Knowledge is a must,
- Excellent understanding of the business
- Proven experience in preparing and implementing legal procurement strategies
- Experience in negotiating and managing contracts and vendors’ activities
- English Proficiency: Fluent speaking and writing skills
- Computer Proficiency: Excellent user
