Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate, qualify and close leads with the aim of creating more sales
- Identify potential customers and register opportunities in CRM; relentlessly pursue the realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company.
- Maintain records of customer details / sales visits in CRM
- Able to set up quotes and prepare contracts as required.
- Ability to create and process orders in a timely fashion
- Communicate shipments tracking information. In addition to Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Meet and exceed the target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the commercial department.
- Submit weekly progress reports to the sales manager and ensure data is accurate.
Job Requirements
- 1 to 4 years experience in shipping, freight forwarding or logistics.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Must be very detail-oriented
- Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility
- Ability to expedite requests for change orders and shipping as required
- Must be a people person/team player
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- English language is a must
