Job Description
- Responsible for implementing HSE procedures for both Head Office and Project Sites
- Responsible for conducting safety audits both internal and external
- Responsible for correcting unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority, although the Safety Officer may exercise emergency authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required
- Maintains awareness of active and developing situations.
- Monitor local area compliance with HSE policy and procedures.
- Promotes HSE awareness
- Responsible for execution of emergency evacuation plans, first aid awareness and tool box talks.
- Responsible for HSE plan and risk assessment plan
- Responsible for liaising with Project Manager to ensure HSE regulations are constantly applied.
- Other technical duties/projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Science Discipline preferably Engineering.
- OSHA 30 General Industry
- OSHA 30 Construction
- Fire Marshal Certification is preferable
- NEBOSH Certification is preferable
