Job Description

  • An Engagement Specialist is responsible for bringing two target audiences together in a better relationship.
  • This could mean serving as a Membership Engagement Manager, whose primary responsibility is to successfully manage the relationship between the dues-paying members or volunteers in an organization and the organization’s mission and purpose. Or, it could require working as a representative of a company, engaging with job applicants and in the marketplace, in order to build the goodwill that attracts top talent.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in “Human Resources, Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field”
  • Minimum (3) years’ prior employee engagement experience\ Corporate Communications /Engagement role.
  • Minimum (1) years’ prior senior employee engagement experience.
  • Very good English
  • 35 years Max.
  • Male or Female

Skills & Abilities:

  • High energy, passion and enthusiasm Essential
  • PC literate with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – friendly, approachable and professional
  • A confident communicator with the ability to relate to staff at all levels and develop strong working relationships
  • Ability to demonstrate confidentiality, empathy and sensitivity, especially when handling sensitive situations and information
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written skills with attention to detail, accuracy and ability to adapt style to audience
  • Good judgment and decision making skills
  • Ability to influence others
  • Ability to produce reports and present statistical information
  • Written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to recognize the parameters of your role and seek advice and support as required
  • Ability to work as part of a team
