We are currently looking for a SoftwareBusiness Analyst to provide data, systems and process analysis.
The successful candidate will be actively involved in project start-up, requirements capture, requirements specification, functional specifications, documentation (system and user), testing and training of project stakeholders where appropriate, interfacing with technical, business and operations staff at all levels throughout the business.
Understand the nature of our business, its strategy and its key drivers
Define and use a range of tools and techniques in order to facilitate the requirements gathering and specification process on projects
Specify problem definition and define scope and objectives in relation to the business requirements
Use business knowledge to identify improvements to current processes and systems
Understand the business impact of change and contribute to the documentation of and monitoring of that impact
Communicate effectively with technical, business, operations and support audiences and use specialist knowledge to engage them appropriately
Develop and foster relationships with key business users and colleagues in other parts of IT
Produce high quality documentation and reports
Act as a liaison between the business and the software developers/applications support team on complex requests or where applications re-design is required to meet the changing business needs
Act as an escalation point for business process or technical application issues that are causing business inefficiencies
More than 2 years
Preferably educated to a high level in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline.
Excellent in English writing and reading is a must.
Familiar with AzueDevOps or similar tool.
Familiar with writing users case, user stories and creating UML diagrams.
Familiar with using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, balanced by an understanding of business context
Excellent knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques in addition to good planning / estimating skills
Qualification in business analysis an advantage
Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Needs to be responsive and accountable with a strong sense of personal ownership
Excellent problem solving skills and a strong team-player
A self-starter and able to be effective with minimal supervision for extended periods of time
Flexible and able to work on multiple simultaneous initiatives
Has an excellent grasp of technical/professional aspects of work and remains up to date
Able to achieve both a high degree of productivity and quality in work
