Job Description
- Design, build and execute innovative and scalable tool strategies and technical solutions using Google’s suite of internal platforms and technologies for your product area.
- Create long term strategies for existing tools to migrate/transition to future anchor tools.
- Liaise and coordinate with partner teams to prioritise and execute demand from your product areas and ensure synergy across teams.
- Collaborate with internal/external technical and developer teams to drive communication, prioritization, analysis, and resolution of customer challenges for your product area.
- Maintain industry, Google product, and customer knowledge to lead or contribute to projects that increase operational efficiency/identification improvement by developing tools and solutions.
Job Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with SQL/MySQL and Unix/Linux operating systems/commands.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, digital tracking solutions in general.
- Experience in building statistical models and the use of statistical programming languages (e.g. R, Stata, SAS, Python Pandas).
- Ability to identify complex problems and implement creative, data-driven solutions.
