Job Description
Tripathon online global booking system is looking for travel industry enthusiasts to join the Groups & Packages department.
General responsibilities of position:
- Getting familiarized with Tripathon booking system
- Preparing group requests for more than 9 individuals
- Preparing packages for group or individual requests
- Assisting agencies with any special requests they may need
- Preparing new packages templates for new and/or already selling destinations
- Keeping tuned to what the market is selling
- Comparing offers with online rates
- Comparing offers provided by different sources and selecting the best option
- Negotiating with hotels/suppliers for better deals
- Following up on all confirmed requests and updating the agencies frequently
- Following up on non-confirmed requests and keeping records of the reasons
- Getting involved in different projects to support the team
Job Requirements
- Academic degree
- Experience in tourism industry will be a plus
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
- Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details
