Job Description
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Respond to queries either in person or remotely.
- Maintain the daily performance of computer systems.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Virtual private network ( VPN ) and other systems.
- Follow up with employees to ensure issue has been resolved.
- Gain feedback from employees about computer usage.
- Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
- Provide new hardware for new employees or as a replacement for damaged components, assist in the coordination of the movement of equipment, test and fix faulty devices.
- Maintain and verify the completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
