Job Description
- Responsible for executing all machine maintenance plans and support the Engineering Department Manager in all production-related maintenance tasks and regular monitoring.
- Monitors all machines' performance on a daily basis.
- Applies fine-tuning and machines setting to adjust arising molds/ machines problems that affect the quality of products.
- Troubleshoots new problems and gives instructions to technicians after referring to the Engineering department manager.
- Delivers on the Job Training to all new technicians or develop current ones.
- Leads the team of technicians to resolve all arising problems during the shift.
- Assures that all subordinates are abiding by the Health & Safety precautions.
- Enforces subordinates to always stick to the quality standards and specifications.
- Ensures subordinates and technicians to abide by company policies & procedures.
- Coordinates with the Quality and Production departments to achieve the optimum level of specified quality of products in a timely manner.
- Executes all required steps to achieve any international certifications ( ex. ISO) and participates explicitly to align with that strategic objective.
- Abides by the documentation cycle set by Finance and ensures acquiring the required approvals.
- Inspires employee engagement to the Maintenance teams to align with the strategic employee engagement objective.
- Assists in setting both departmental and individual objectives & KPIs that align with the organization’s strategy.
- Evaluates fairly & properly all his team members in coordination of Engineering Department Manager on a regular basis as per the set performance management system.
- Ensures that his team is abiding by all policies & procedures related to Human Resources.
- Prepares and presents all maintenance reports specified by Engineering Department Manager or General manager on a regular basis or as required.
- Attends to any additional tasks requested by Engineering Department Manager or General Manager
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
- Two to Four years of experience in Maintenance
- Experience in Plastics field & maintenance is preferable
Skills:
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions accordingly
- Very Good Communication Skills
- Very Good Leadership Skills.
- Very Good Problem Solving Skills
- Good level of English Language.
- Excellent knowledge of all MS. Applications (Word, Excel…)
- Previous experience with ERP software systems
