Procurement & Logistics Specialist

Position Overview:

• Transparency is a big passion of ours. We pride ourselves on having a strong relationship with our vendors and local suppliers to ensure all our produces are aligned with our values of clean farming and our strive towards sustainability, quality of food meets the standards set, and that we follow the freshness of the seasons. Moreover, we have a few suppliers abroad for our superfood items that we import on a regular basis.
• You will be responsible for the overall supply chain management; to ensure the relationship with our growers and suppliers is clear and steady, stay up-to-date with the seasonal produces and changes and produce the data necessary, check stocks and order deliveries to ensures the daily stocks are present every day so our team can cook all the food from scratch.
• The aim is to manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development, ensure sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Aside from the perishable goods, you will also be responsible for ensuring stock for our serving ware (which is all handmade) if necessary, and to seek sustainable and affordable measures and suppliers for our delivery packaging.

Job Responsibilities:

• Know of and maintain contact with our suppliers abroad and deal with our importing agency to coordinate for imports to arrive on time

• Visit the local vendors provide us with our handmade serving ware and farms that provide us with fresh natural produce

• Develop close relationship with farmers and distributors

• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

• Monitor stocks and place orders as required once discussed with Prep Cooks

• Proactively address vendor, product, and supply chain problems ensuring that the right products are in the right locations at the right times in the right quality and quantity and at the right price

• Check the quality of produce is in accord to our standards, every delivery

• Support new product roll outs, seasonal, and core menu changes

• Allocate, contact, and meet new suppliers if needed

• On board new items and suppliers by gathering final product and price information and finalizing and managing launch timelines

• Create and maintain seasonal order guides

• Publish pricing list update and maintain template

• Seek sustainable and affordable measures and suppliers for delivery packaging

• Identifying cost saving practices for bulk material orders, or competitive bids to ensure gaining the highest value per budget spent

• Work directly with Finance Manager to cut POs and track budget spent per project
