Job Description
- Manage the purchase committee for all local supplier whether renewing contracts or new models and take decisions in supplier’s dealings.
- Manage the acquisition process for plants goods in compliance with contractual conditions by suppliers.
- Manage with finance all financial problems that supplier face in order to maintain the supply of material smoothly to production lines.
- Approve contracts and purchase orders.
- Manage searching for alternative suppliers for maintenance spare parts and consumables.
- negotiate & analyze materials, spare parts, consumables prices with local suppliers to obtain the best prices.
- Contribute and develop all policies & procedures related to local purchasing department.
- Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the same field.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics.
- Good command of English.
- Experienced in using ERP systems.
- People Management, Negotiation, Communication, and Budgeting & Planning skills.
