Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and disciplining staff; and reviewing staff job description; maintaining compensation; implementing changes.
  • Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities;
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice.
  • Guides management by updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Job Requirements

  • 15 years of progressively more responsible positions in human resources, preferably in a similar industry in two different firms.
  • Experience supervising and managing a professional staff.
  • Experience as a trusted resource as a member of a senior level executive team.
  • Experience in multiple locations and globally is a plus for the HR director job candidates.
  • Masters Degree in Business or Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
