Job Description

  • Leading the One Microsoft Business Strategy, Planning, and Integration process for the account teams laying the groundwork for revenue attainment, market share growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Establishing a business operations and coaching rhythm that improves the performance of the team and drives consistent, sustainable business results
  • Building and maintain a high performing sales team
  • Growing Customer Satisfaction by coaching business relevance and by personally engaging with key executives
  • Maintaining broad Knowledge of Microsoft Technology, Competition, Emerging Technologies and Industry Trends
  • Leading a sustainable and predictable sales business that delivers success to both Microsoft and customers.
  • Developing a high-performing sales team where the team members are considered to be the best-in-class sales professions in the market.
  • Building and growing strong customer and partner executive relationships between gain their trust and loyalty.
  • Driving integration and orchestration across all sales/tech sales/marketing/services/partner organizations to ensure a One Microsoft approach.
  • Ensuring execution of Industry practices and Microsoft digital transformation strategy to enable Microsoft as a digital leader with higher revenue creation, profitability and market valuation
  • Understanding the Company’s Manufacturing Specific priorities and creating and implementing strategies, and plan programs of services that drive value and contribute to Microsoft growth through attainment of your revenue based, share based and/or consumption-based quota within market
  • Developing sales programs to expand strategic customer relationships to drive larger impact for the customer selling Manufacturing / Oil & Gas services and solutions that grow consumption of Microsoft 365, Windows 10 devices (including Microsoft Surface), Azure, and Dynamics 365
  • Planning and overseeing the delivery and impact of partners - ISVs and SIs that drive customer objectives, outcomes and success and deepen digital transformation engagements with active use of the Microsoft cloud creating lighthouse examples of digital transformation
  • Serving as an escalation point when required leveraging voice of customer direct and indirect feedback through account engagement, surveys, listening systems and social mechanisms to identify and alleviate key customer success blockers
  • Providing insight and feedback from customers and partners to the Microsoft Worldwide Industry Teams to help learning and improvement in industry solutions and digital transformation offerings
  • Continuously nurture and expand your sales, industry, technology and competitive knowledge and capabilities

Job Requirements

  • Seven (7) plus years of Manufacturing / Oil & Gas related experience with three (3) plus years of people management and leading sales teams to achieve quota sustainably growth year-over year.
  • Bachelor of Science/Arts in business administration with exposure to Information Technology (or equivalent) is required; MBA is preferred
  • Experience in selling Oil & Gas / Manufacturing software solutions combined with deep understanding of key industry trends and competitive technologies
  • Strong business planning and coaching/instilling business discipline skills woven with ability to encourage sales team to develop and implement targeted plans.
  • Ability to drive digital transformation in a highly competitive environment with proven ability to successfully anticipate market changes to drive industry-relevant solutions, address competitive threats and navigate complex customer environments
  • Experience in leading and driving the entire sales cycle, orchestrating virtual selling teams where necessary, leveraging repeatable offerings that maximize revenue/market share/consumption opportunities and increase customer satisfaction
  • Strong sales and business background centered on software technologies (Microsoft software and devices technology preferred) combined with deep understanding of key industry solutions and competitive technologies.
  • Extensive experience in working with high-performing sales individuals and software partners is required.
  • Ability to identify, nurture, and drive digital transformation deals with all customers.
  • Must have a passion for sales and solution selling, solid leadership and teambuilding presence, and be customer satisfaction obsessed.
  • Must have a proven track record of understand and progress customer’s business imperatives with technology solutions.
