Job Description
Job Purpose:
- Lead HR investigations and appropriate ER activities across the region – manage end to end HR investigations, including appropriate case reporting, decision making and stakeholder management at regional or local level.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently manage assigned casework, bringing investigations to closure rapidly and definitively
- Manage critical employee relations issues that are crisis-oriented to ensure successfully completion within limited time and SLAs
- Investigate HR and Employee Relations issues, including:
- Conducting investigation related interviews
- Drafting reports and proposing remedial action based on investigation findings
- Producing complete investigation documentation
- Analyzing data from various reporting systems to ensure swift progress on cases
- Management of stakeholders as related to the case ensuring appropriate closure of the matter.
- Design, collect, and analyze multiple levels of employee and stakeholder feedback
- Support in the HR cases related decision making and disciplinary process in the region
- Manage Employee grievances in the region along with other ER matters.
- Consult and collaborate with business partners, Corporate ER teams, Compliance and Legal teams on complex employee investigations
- Partner in analysis and revision of people programs, policies, and practices
- Help analyze, diagnose, design, and revise people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations across the region, as needed.
Job Requirements
Basic qualifications:
- 3 to 6 years of experience.
- Experienced in generalist human resources and/or labor relations and demonstrated passion for employee relations, labor relations, investigations, or labor/employment law
- Experienced in conducting investigative work, including associated interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
- Experienced in managing unions and different IR activities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet timelines and work objectives
- Experience of preparing investigation reports, detailing logical and accurate conclusions and providing timely updates to stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly in English
- Bachelor’s degree – business, law, human resources or any other relevant function.
