Job Description
- Review of Signaling design documents and drawings submitted by the contractors to check the compliance with specifications required by the contract, client’s requirement and local operation practice. Design Documents include but are not limited to:
- ATC and Interlocking Functional and Hardware Specifications
- Signaling Equipment Descriptive Manuals
- Interlocking Principles and Control Tables
- Signal Track Plans
- Signaling Internal and External Interface Specifications
- Station and Trackside Signaling Drawings
- Review of Signaling equipment Installation Drawings and Method Statements
- Review factory and site test procedures to ensure all contract requirements are fulfilled
- Monitor Signaling progress relative to the project schedule
- Ensure site installations are done on-time according to the proper installation methods and all signaling interface requirements are met by the different contractors with the assistance of the site supervisor
- Witness of factory and site acceptance tests with the client and the contractor
- Prepare reports for the Design status, Site work progress and FAT/SAT tests results
- Attend Meetings and Workshops with the Contractor and the Client
Job Requirements
- 10 Years of overall experience in Signaling and Systems
- 5 Years in Rail/Metro Industry in Signaling Discipline
- Very good command of English
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
