Principal Engineer (Roads)

Job Description & Specification:

• This role is for a Principal Engineer the Roads team; an engineering graduate with at least twenty (20) years of experience delivering all aspects of roads and highways infrastructure assets including pavement designs, horizontal and vertical road alignments, drainage, signage, all types of at-grade and grade-separated junctions, and high-volume freeway grade separated interchanges.
• Candidates should have a thorough technical knowledge of the required design criteria in the above disciplines, and experience in applying these criteria in design projects,
• in particular road safety. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in complementary infrastructure fields such as traffic impact studies, structural engineering (for bridges and tunnels), geotechnical engineering, and stormwater management.
• The candidate should have extensive experience of managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
