Job Description

Fire Protection Products-Technical office Engineer:

  • Calculate dimensions, square footage, profile and component specifications, and material quantities.
  • Read and review project blueprints and structural specifications to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements.
  • Draft detailed dimensional drawings and design layouts for projects and to ensure conformance to Egyptian Fire protection Code specifications.
  • Confer with management to determine project details such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, and evaluation of field conditions.
  • Analyze proposed site factors and design maps, graphs, tracings, and diagrams to illustrate findings.
  • In the case of unclear cases, refer to HQ for an Engineering Judgment
  • Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards — Using relevant information and HQ Engineering judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Estimate technical or resource requirements for development or production projects.
  • Inspect facilities or sites to determine if they meet the Egyptian Fire Protection Codes.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • 2 to 3 Years Experience in Fire stopping material technicality.
  • Knowledge of Computer-aided design CAD software
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and site surveying.
  • Building and Construction — Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures.
  • Design — Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
