Senior QC Engineer

The Senior Quality Control Engineer/ Lead will be responsible for ensuring a product or service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. The ideal candidate will be required to initiate tests, analyze results, and identify problems within existing and newly developed software. The QA Analyst will support the software development and user community; developing reusable and precise test specification cases, processes, and standards.

• Review and interpret all documentation related to the project, including business requirements and functional design specifications, to provide input to the project team regarding the planning of testing activities
• Develop effective test strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Log testing phases and defects in test management software and provide detailed test reports and metrics to document the status and any risk associated with current releases of custom software. This includes SharePoint-based workflows and various reports, models and dashboards
• Report bugs and errors to development teams and track defects from discovery through and including assisting in the resolution
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to include creating UAT test plan and scripts as well as facilitating testing sessions with users for UAT sign-off
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with external vendors for test automation and test APIs
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life-cycle
