Export & Import Specialist

We are renowned chemicals export and import company located in Heliopolis, Cairo. We are seeking a female talented and qualified export/import specialist to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for selecting forwarders and carriers, researching best shipping methods, and assessing export / import budgets.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to details in order to oversee daily operations and logistics procedures. In addition to having excellent communications and organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics system.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries either sea or air freight.
• Coordinates all shipping process either CIF, FOB or Ex-works
• Select forwarders/carriers and negotiate contracts and rates.
• Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, forwarders and carriers.
• Ensure all operations adhere to chemicals export/import local and international restrictions, laws and guidelines.
• Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
• Respond to any issues or complaints.
• Evaluate import/export budgets and expenditures.
• Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
• Some admin works (answering phone, preparing offers, banks letters)
