Job Description

The Operations Manager oversees the company’s operations including inventory management, logistics, and order fulfillment. He/She will also be required to manage all inventory levels and reducing all out of stocks. The Operations Manager also ensures the company is carrying right inventory and ensures all projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities:

Production:

  • Sourcing all the required materials for production.
  • Selecting and monitoring suppliers based on agreed strategy with the managing director.
  • Managing all the production process across our wide product range.
  • Ensuring and sustaining product quality and finishes.
  • Managing product costing and cost reduction.
  • Calculating cost for custom-made orders.
  • New product development in coordination with the design department.

Operations:

  • Plan, develop and execute operation strategy.
  • Supplying stores/sales channels with sufficient stock.
  • Overseeing fulfilling orders and packaging process.
  • Managing logistics between the company warehouse, store/sales channels, suppliers, and customers.
  • Fulfilling customer orders: In-stock orders and Custom made orders.

Warehouse:

  • Stocking products from our overseas and local suppliers.
  • Organizing the warehouse for easy access to specific products and counting the stock.
  • Keeping the stock safe from any damage; for instance (dust, water/rain, fire, rats).
  • Managing inbounds and outbounds of any products.
  • Managing stock levels.

Managerial

  • Recruiting and training sufficient staff for production efficiency.
  • Monitor and motivate staff.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's in business administration-finance or logistics or Supply chain.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in related field, preferably in Retail.
  • Knowledge in ERP systems is a plus.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proactive.
  • Communication skills.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Highly organized.
