Job Description

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Understanding, Forcing and updating of the company’s SOPs.
  • Evaluating the risks, putting the suitable business solutions and preventive audit action plan (Propose Solutions) before reporting it.
  • Following any new projects and operation requirements and to advise the project owners in case of any potential operational risk.
  • Ongoing processes modifications according to the company and operation’s needs.
  • Making sure that all the company’s SOPs are in place and co-workers are well trained.
  • Implementation of operational and HO periodical audits.
  • Development of exist Audit programs and activities and testing the objectives behind.
  • Measuring the improvements by doing periodic benchmark reports to see where we are and to present it to the Head of Internal Audit with action plans.
  • SOPs refreshment training plan for the organization especially with the operation functions.
  • Full monthly store auditing visits plan.
  • Direct involvement, corporation and consultation with any governance and non-governance functions across the company.
  • Work hand to hand with all the company’s function for better operating performance and cost cautious approach.
  • Detailed follow up with the departments head to see their action plans improvements are going very well and fully understandable.
  • Regular IA team assessment to measure their performance and work immediately on the weaknesses.
  • Shrinkage analysis after each stock take (Stores & WHS) is a must with a proper benchmark to allow us to measure the improvement and gaps.
  • Attending all fraud cases investigation and adapting the process if needed to cover any risk or fraud which may result from weaknesses and neglecting of the process.
  • Understand and help the operation to Control expenses for the Stores and HO, identify areas that have opportunities for any OPEX and CAPEX cost reduction and take necessary action to implement.
  • P&L Knowledge, reading and control especially the bottom lines (Expenses).
  • Elaborate, execute some decision with the head of Internal Audit and any managerial level.
  • Guarantee on an excellent synergy between the stores and HO, and between all the organization’s managers.

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • University Degree.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of retail experience (Retail Operation-Retail service functions) with a full understanding of retail business needs and nature.
  • Must be able to share his knowledge, learning and teaching his/her team.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English (Optional).
  • Must have excellent training skills
  • Must have the ability to bring out the best in Co-workers and to motivate and develop the organization.
  • Must have advanced computer skills, especially in EXCEL.
  • Fully awareness and control the areas that related to direct costs and losses such as Waste, cash handling, shrinkage, safety …etc).
  • Be a model of El Sallab Policies (Rule model for the store and HO management).
  • The ability to discuss and challenge with all managerial levels inside the organization from the section manager to the chairman, and the ability to dealing with 3rd party suppliers in some cases with good negotiation skills.
  • Good listener and decision-maker for non-major issues.
