Job Description
- Direct and supervise the development, implementation, and administration of QA activities in all phases of production at the factory level.
- Monitor and assess performance of the quality systems, report its effectiveness to management and implement actions for improvement.
- Ensure compliance of the audit programs for internal and external audits i.e. FSSC 22000, 9001, 14001 and 18001.
- Ensure compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing, and sampling and sanitation activities.
- Manage QA related projects from inception to final reports and implementation that are based inside and outside the resources of the Dept. on a factory-wide basis.
- Quality Supplier Management by providing service (as requested) for Vendor audits, advice and follow up of actions plans.
- Drive Monthly reviews of KPI’s and contribute towards meeting the yearly business Goals for the Facility.
- Partner cross functionally with the Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to maximize results.
- Manage budgeting, purchasing and inventory of plant operating supplies such as filters, chemicals and lab supplies.
- Ensure plant compliance to good hygiene practices, good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and HACCP.
- Drive non-conformity management and verify action plan effectiveness through follow-up of consumer complaints for all product categories and ensure implementation of CAPA is communicated back to markets.
- Track technical assessment in the markets (after sales centers network) and ensure best practices are shared and implemented through the technical & quality management community.
- Use continuous improvement methodologies and projects to improve and streamline quality processes.
- Promote quality awareness and ownership across the value chain.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in engineering
- Language Skills: Very good command of both written and spoken English.
- Computer Skills: Excellent performance of tasks using Microsoft Office.
- Communication skills: Very good.
