Job Description

  • Management of the procurement functions of local and foreign procurement of the company.
  • Work closely with the Planning Department to begin buying the necessary materials for quality control and work with research and development to determine their exact needs and specifications of raw materials for their use.
  • Speed up the purchase orders by identifying and resolving the problems of the vendor or shipment.
  • Coordination with the Department of Logistics in the dates of arrival of shipments.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors.
  • Take part in setting the annual Material budgeting process.
  • In place of cost & lead time reduction plan, improve payment & Inco terms.
  • Monitor, evaluate & develop procurement staff. Put in place a succession plan.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
  • Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
  • Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
  • Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
  • Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
  • Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
  • Participate, guide and support all department employees to contribute in performing the quality, environmental and occupational health& safety systems effectively.
  • Support the role of the department to highlight its leadership on its responsibility areas for quality, environmental and occupational health& safety systems.

Job Requirements

  • Education: bachelor of Commerce – Business Administration Section
  • Experience: 7-10 Years of Experience.
  • Computer skills: Very Good.
  • Language skills: English: Very Good.
