Job Description

Professional Development Trainer with Educational Background.

Education 2.0

  • To provide professional development and mentoring to teachers in support of the implementation of Education 2.0 curriculum

Responsibilities

The Curriculum Trainers core responsibilities include the following:

  • Delivering face to face professional development to teachers in their own Governorate
  • Mentoring teachers as they deliver cascade training in their own schools and local areas
  • Support teachers and schools to implement Curriculum 2.0 as it is rolled out over a number of years

These responsibilities are indicative and may vary over time. Employees are expected to undertake other responsibilities relevant to the nature, level, and scope of the role, showing a willingness to be flexible in support of the project aims.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective mentoring relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and digital, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to make good use of a range of technologies to enhance all of the above.
  • Ability to stay within roles, responsibility, and meet deadlines.
  • Highly developed teamwork and team-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Have recently completed a professional development program such as Teachers First, STEM Now, etc.
