Technical Operations Director

Planning, managing and monitoring all the activities within the Operations function, including Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality Providing continuous support to the staff, as well as overseeing the implementation of operational strategies and plans in order to enable the company of achieving a competitive advantage of operational excellence.

Strategic:

• Participating in the establishment of strategies, policies and goals for the operations
• Deriving and developing medium and short-term plans and executive programs to manage and achieve the Operations goals
• Monitoring the Operations performance against pre-set performance goals to ensure that progress is being made in the desirable direction and preventive/ corrective actions are taken accordingly
• Setting the estimated budget, and monitoring internal expenditures and financial performance for the Operations in the territory in coordination with the Finance function

Technical & Executive:

• Liaising with functions Managers within the operations function to ensure smooth flow of information and timely deliveries of requirements
• Providing operational and technical direction with regards to the various aspects and phases of the production processes to ensure professional and timely execution of the production processes within the allocated resources and budgets
• Reporting and providing statistical and analytical consolidated reports to the Head of Territory on operations performance and related issues, in order to facilitate decision making on critical operational aspects within the Territory
• Evaluating the degree of implementation of Health & Safety (HS) management system, HS plans and periodically reviewing feedback on findings and improvement requirements
• Ensuring adherence to set corporate policies, procedures and guidelines related to QA/ QC, and ensuring proper implementation across all operations in addition to passing local and international inspections and comply with GMPs
• Streamline flow of products in accordance with plans and oversee the optimum manufacturing plans to maintain optimum inventory levels
• Direct the engineering function to achieve support production plans and achieve proper machine capacity utilization
• Ensuring the proper provision of operational requirements to production plants, such as CAPEX, in a timely manner and according to the quality levels adopted at the company
• Approving operations function budget, as well as monitoring the financial performance of the operations; monthly financial statements, and reviewing income and costs relative to the goals and taking effective corrective actions as necessary
• Continuously monitoring the performance of the production plants and administrating the continuous development, as well as increasing the quality of products offered to clients to achieve operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and boost market share
• Continuously monitoring and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the implemented methods and procedures, assessing and monitoring workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships
