Job Description
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Check all the received goods and record its specifications and information
- Classification of received goods (Hazardous, mechanical tools, equipment, accessories, casings and weighty Cargos)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy weights
- Valid forklift license
- High school Diploma
- HSE Related Training;
- Good knowledge of Manual Handling of materials and equipment. Ability to communicate and be a team member.
- Good knowledge of material types and pipes.
- Good knowledge of attaching materials and weights
- Good knowledge of multiple types of wire ropes, shackles, ratchets & their load capacity.
