Job Description
- Controls all production operations/processes by all quality methods and tools to comply with predetermined standards that achieves desired product(s) quality
- Supervises all inspection activities to achieve desired product(s) quality
- Leads/collaborates with the teams from other functions in troubleshooting/investigation activities, using suitable troubleshooting/investigation methods to identify the root cause(s) of the concern(s) and take proper countermeasures for them
- Verifies, validates and confirms countermeasures implementation and Performs recurrence prevention audits and sustainability audits for concerns countermeasures
- Reports all quality issues to quality control manager on a (daily, weekly, monthly) basis
- Analyzes quality performance of the section(s)/department for each quarter/year, develops quality improvement plans based on that analysis and approves them from quality control manager
- Evaluates performance of quality control staff through layered audits and observation.
- Develops customized training plans for quality control staff, approves them from quality control manager and performs these training plans to improve their performance and motivate them.
- Collaborates With quality control manager to set plans and initiatives to improve process quality
- Commits with quality and safety policies and regulations and monitors commitment of quality control staff with them
- Follows up proper preservation of measuring tools and ensures commitment with calibration plan
- Regulates documents control of the section(s)/department and ensures proper document preservation
Job Requirements
- Sc. in relevant Engineering degree; Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Experience:
- +4 years of experience in a quality control, assurance or engineering role, preferably in a multinational manufacturing organization.
- Knowledge:
- ISO 9000; Can carry out the work prescribed in the quality manual by oneself
- SQC & SPC; can solve problems using SQC & SPC
- Root Cause Analysis RCA
- FMEA, FTA
- Quality plans/Control plans
- Cost of quality (COQ)
- Continuous improvement techniques; lean/Kaizen, Six Sigma ...etc.
- Quality Certification will be an advantage
