Job Description
- To lead the work team in the production department to work towards achieving the company's objectives and implementing the policies and objectives of production management.
- Implementation of occupational safety and health standards in the department.
- Implementation of the requirements of Ahram Manufacturing System.
- Measuring the skills of individuals working in the production department and the work of the skills matrix for the lower level.
- The distribution of tasks to the employees of the productive department to ensure the utilization of available human resources.
- Work out training plans for employees in the production department to raise their skills.
- Encourage employees in the department to participate in continuous improvement and presentation of ideas and innovation.
- Conduct periodic evaluation of the performance of staff in the department.
- Distribution of daily production plans to the centers of production operations.
- Follow up the implementation of work orders on the various production centers to achieve the monthly productivity plan.
- Identification of the needs of the implementation of human resources production plans.
- Measuring the performance of the department specified in the AMS (Quality, Cost, Productivity and Delivery).
- Analysis of the causes of deviations from the required performance rates.
- Develop and follow up the operational plans necessary to correct deviations from the required performance rates.
- Closed cooperation with other departments in problem solving, performance development, continuous improvement and future planning.
- Control of losses and depreciation of production processes.
- Control the inventory of raw materials and parts within production halls.
- Ensure consistency between production data, actual inventory and data recorded on the ERP system.
- Maintain equipment, ensure proper operation and communicate effectively with maintenance management to minimize faults, repair speed and achieve preventive maintenance plans.
- Calculation of the department's needs from the number, tools and supplies required for operation and the preparation of annual plans.
- Participation, guidance and support of the members of the administration to contribute to the effectiveness of the system of quality and environmental management and occupational safety and health.
- Supporting the role of management to highlight its leadership on its areas of responsibility for quality and environmental management systems and occupational safety and health.
Job Requirements
- University degree from one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering - Production Engineering or equivalent according to the requirements of the work in each production department.
- Previous experience: Practical experience in a similar field for at least 3 years.
