Job Description
- Manage all accounting departments work, including ledgers, assets, credit, collections, and accounts.
- Follow up with forwarders, contractors accounts payments due date.
- Make sure all financial data adheres to current tax laws and regulations
- Organize and update financial records; monitor all bookkeeping
- Track records, plan, and file all state and federal taxes, along with internal and external financial reports.
- Make recommendations for needed changes in processes and new accounting strategies to maximize profits
- Regularly examine financial statements and ensure they are accurate and free of any errors
- Analyze accounts and suggest improvements to reduce costs and increase profits
- Keep company accounts information confidential
- Stay updated with any industrial and economic changes and current tax/accounting laws
- Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to the IT team for performance improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, accounting-English section.
- A perfect user of MS Office.
- Previous experience in using an ERP system.
- Previous solid manufacturing experience in costing section is a must.
- Previous experience for at least 10 years, 5 of which in supervisory level.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Professional ability to manage and supervise accounting department employees.
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license is preferable.
- Highly skilled in budgeting and bookkeeping
