Job Description
- Be part of the finance operations controlling community and act an integral team member focused on delivering right analysis.
- Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
- Be responsible for running stock takes. Perform on-going cycle counts for all inventory categories / inventory accuracy check
- Control material excess and obsolete.
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
- Provide routine management information on inventory performance
- Monitor and evaluate consumables usage & costs
- Monitor & evaluate material utilization and scrap
- Control and follow up production job order
- Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
- Ensuring accuracy of inventory counts, analyzing results, book-to-physical reconciliations, investigating variances, and resolving issues through use of root-cause analysis.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory reserves: inventory shrink and obsolescence
Job Requirements
- At least 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, work experience in a GL accounting position is preferred.
- Ideally possessing a relevant professional qualification and/or suitable background experience in inventory management / purchasing Good at communication and observation.
- Have a detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control / management systems and ERP (SAP or Oracle).
- Good experience in using excel functions
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
