Job Description

  • Meets maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
  • Improve project deployment process to increase quality and efficiency with collaboration and agreement of all stakeholders.
  • Maintains function and reliability of production systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
  • Stake Holder relations: Acts as an escalation point for projects issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stake holders and effectively communicates with all stake holders to complete projects efficiently with safety, profitability and quality.
  • Defines maintenance policies and processes that drive maximum efficiency of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. Develops and implements life cycle management procedures for all new and existing equipment.
  • Contract, claims & procurement management: Ensures that the projects consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ACCM policies and contractual agreements. Coordinates with supply chain management and successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support supply chain management in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes.
  • Plan and manage major projects and the analysis of new proposals, requirements and specifications. Coordinate activities, arrange staffing for each phase of project and assign specific responsibilities. Ensure that overall efforts are in concert with Company requirements.
  • Coordinate shipping with factory and freight forwarders, by ship and/or common carriers. Manage and if possible improve the profitability and cash flow of the project.
  • Ensure that disconnections and reconnects are scheduled with the Utility, inspectors and other stakeholders.
  • Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
  • Health, Safety and Environment (HSE): Ensures that safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering
  • 8 years Minimum experience preferred in calcium carbonate or cement industry
  • Excellent Contractors/service providers-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent technical skills (civil , electrical , mechanical )
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • PMP
