Job Description
- Handle AS400 system support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
- Handle and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IDIS System.
- Handle user problems through a queue of tickets assigned and proceeds based on priority.
- Check servers, storage, backup and communications H/W administration.
- Perform daily system monitoring.
- Check the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
- Check system and application logs.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance daily, weekly and monthly reports to direct manager.
- Assess critical systems, prioritize workflow and determine solutions.
- Check licenses for all operating system related software.
- Perform data management.
- Check and implement business applications.
- Coordinate user IDs, assign functions and roles to users, Lock/Unlock and reset user passwords, perform security audits.
- Monitor and check daily, weekly and monthly backup.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Can support our business application after working hours.
- Fair knowledge with AS400.
