Job Description

  • Translates the satellite’s business objectives into people-related requirements and communicates them to the HR team on the corporate level.
  • Participates in the preparation of the annual HR budget for the satellite aligning with the company CEO/GM and the HR Corporate team for consolidation.
  • Implements the annual manpower plan for staff and blue collars ensuring the fulfillment of the business needs. Cooperates with HR Corporate team for the hiring of the leadership and managerial levels.
  • Identifies leadership and white-collar staff training needs and communicates them to the Learning & Development Manager, for the preparation of the satellite’s annual training plan.
  • Follows up on the execution of the plans throughout the year, and reports on progress to the corporate team.
  • Collaborates with the Operations Manager for the preparation of the vocational training of the blue collars and ensures its execution.
  • Conducts bi-annual meetings with the satellite CEO/GM to discuss leadership succession and provides input to the HR corporate team and follows up on progress of the plans, keeping the CEO/GM up-to-date at all times.
  • Announces the bi-annual performance appraisal runs, follows up and ensures fulfillment by all employees, conducts satellite preliminary performance analysis and sends them to the HR Corporate team for consolidation and HR plans generation.
  • Prepares job offers to on-boarded employees, ensuring full compliance of the offer to the compensation and benefits guidelines set by corporate HR.
  • Analyzes staff and blue color bi-annual performance appraisals and presents results to the Department Heads and the CEO/GM for decision making purposes.
  • Communicates regularly with the corporate HR team any people-related or HR systems challenges to develop policies, programs and solutions to overcome them, ensuring minimal interruption of the business.
  • Mediates and resolves employee conflicts; conducts thorough and objective investigations when necessary, ensuring a healthy working environment and culture that boost employee productivity.
  • Ensures full compliance to stipulated labor law, ensuring complete Employee personal files, employees’ insurance and tax deductions to avoid any legal liability.
  • Monitors all Personnel and Administration activities pertaining to; Employee Services (i.e. medical insurance, employee files etc.), facility management (i.e. transportation, fleet) and office maintenance (i.e. security, office supplies).
  • Presents periodical reports to the Group HR Business Partner on the activities pertaining to; OD, training and development, compensation & benefits, recruitment and personnel management of the Satellite while highlighting areas of challenges and recommended solutions to overcome them.
  • Conducts performance appraisal sessions with immediate subordinates. Provides feedback to the HRBPs performance to their corresponding CEOs and suggests their technical development plans.
  • Sets the development plans and training needs for the immediate subordinates and follows up on the execution of the allocated training / program and evaluates its success.

Job Requirements

  • Solid experience as an HR Generalist or Manager with focus on Recruitment, Training, Talent Management, Organization Development, Employee Relations and execution of Compensation & Benefits programs. Candidates missing any of these requirements will not be considered
  • Bachelor’s degree from any discipline and additional post-graduate certification is preferred.
  • Experience 7 years in all HR Functions.
  • Good command of English written and spoken.
  • Good knowledge of Local Labor Law, governmental regulations and safety standards, preferably in the Construction sector.
