Job Description
- Oversee and manage procedures and processes related to egg production
- Monitor animal health and productivity for all hens
- Play a key role on the farm management team
- Meet established goals for farm and assists in setting goals for the future
- Oversee analysis reports, and benchmarks productivity, operating expenses, and profitability
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Biology or related field, Master’s Degree considered a Plus
- A minimum of 5 years’ of relevant leadership experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with the Partners and General Managers on decisions
- Highly organized
- Have the ability to interpret and extrapolate from collected data
- Exhibit excellent people management skills
- Strong background in economics, business management, mathematics and science
- Must be able to analyze and make sound business and animal management decisions with confidence in his/her analytical skills while also giving appropriate consideration to competing thoughts and conclusions
- Strong knowledge of poultry science, economics, business management, financial and agronomics practices
