Main Responsibilities:
- Upgrade Oracle Fusion Middleware environments to new versions and apply security patches
- Perform new installs of Oracle Fusion Middleware 12cr2 components (Oracle HTTP Server, WebLogic, Oracle Forms and Reports) and migrate applications from previous OFM versions (11g, 12cr1)
- Deploy customer code via console/WLST
- Assist customers and developers with troubleshooting
- Respond to outages of the environment
- Create and maintain WLST automation scripts
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
- From 2-4 years of experience
- Oracle WebLogic Administration
- Must have experience installing, monitoring, configuring and troubleshooting WebLogic & SOA environments.
- Specifically clustering, working with nodes, failing over, installations.
- Requires Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Oracle WebLogic Administration with the following expertise are required:
- WebLogic server administration
- Java and SDK experience
- Installing/Upgrading and configuring WebLogic domains.
- Set up WebLogic administration
- Install/Configure OHS (Oracle HTTP server) and troubleshoot issues with OHS
- Performance monitoring.
- Performance Tuning.
- Code deployment
- Installing WebLogic patches, service packs
- Troubleshooting logs for any type of issues with servers
- Configuring of LDAP and Security realms.
- Developing automation scripts.
- Integrating with HTTP/HTTPS servers.
- Troubleshooting JAR, EAR, WAR files
- Troubleshooting WebCenter portal issues
