Role Overview:
- We are a small team of forex and fintech professionals working on an exciting new project. Our goal is to build a network of websites that will provide free and accurate financial information to everyone.
- This Junior Copywriter role is varied and dynamic, covering all kinds of digital copywriting. From eye-catching captions and SEO reviews to descriptive press releases. It requires creative thinking, an eye for accuracy, strong research skills and an interest in the financial markets, forex and cryptocurrencies.
Role Responsibilities:
- Daily research on the financial markets, forex industry,cryptocurrency sector and anything fintech
- Writing engaging and creative search engine optimized copy for multiple brand channels including: forex broker descriptions/reviews, blog posts, content pages, page titles and descriptions, meta descriptions, press releases, financial and broker news
- Daily site sweeps to ensure all copy is up to date and correct
- Generate inspiring content ideas with commercial viability
- Assist with the creation of Social media posts to drive engagement
Job Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
- Graduate level education preferably in a creative subject
- Excellent written English
- Strong creative writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Great attention to detail
- Great research skills
- Great SEO knowledge , preferably on page SEO
- Experience working with Wordpress and Yoast SEO
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Experience working within the financial/forex services sector is a plus
- A keen interest in forex and cryptocurrency trends
- Strong communication and people skills
- Able to work confidently in Google Docs and Wordpress
- An enthusiastic and proactive ‘can-do’ attitude.
