Job Description

Social studies

The job of a high school social studies teacher is to instruct students between grades 9 and 12. They focus on academic topics such as history, government, economics, geography, or current events. Duties are to prepare lecture material, assign homework, and design or follow a curriculum to teach students all the required material. They may also assist students that are having difficulty in the class by giving them additional assignments. Qualifications for a high school social studies teacher include a bachelor’s or master’s degree and licensure.

Arabic language teacher

Job Description:

  • The main responsibility of a teacher is to help your students understand Arabic including English, speak it and be able to write and read it. Your duties will range from the preparation of course work, planning of classes and the marking of work handed in. on top of this you will also have to arrange any extracurricular activities and set targets for your pupils. You will of course spend a lot of time on face to face lessons including writing on black or White boards and while also be responsible for the safety of your students during your lessons.

Typical Duties include:

  • Organizing Students School Supplies
  • Evaluating and assisting Students on their class work and assignments
  • Preparing Students coursework materials, homework assignments and handouts.
  • Study Room Management
  • Developing Arabic including English lesson plans
  • Class Report to the Students Parents

Primary teachers

  • Primary School Teachers educate children between the ages of 5 and 12 under a prescribed curriculum to develop students’ literacy and numeracy skills and foster social, physical and emotional growth. Subject areas within their curriculum include mathematics, English, science, technology, humanities and social science, arts, health and physical education.
  • As a Primary School Teacher, you’ll use a variety of effective techniques and technologies to engage students with the learning process according to their age, level of ability and individual needs. You will also encourage the intellectual and emotional growth of children including reasoning and problem solving skills, creativity and self-expression.
  • Primary School Teachers work collaboratively with leadership, specialist and support staff including the school Principal, Special Education Teachers, Guidance Officers, Teacher Librarians and Teacher Aides. If required, Primary School Teachers may also interact with other professionals such as Social Welfare Officers or Disability Officers to assist students who have special needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or masters degree and licensure
