Job Description
- Proactively ensure system performance are within defined performance matrix and highly available
- Systems are to be secured with latest updates and patches as per the Patch Management Policy
- Execute proactive measures to reduce unplanned downtime
- Installation and Provision of Infrastructure Systems, computers, hardware and software.
- Monitor critical systems health and capacity, escalate to relevant team for necessary action
- Provide Technical support for end users
- Troubleshoot network issues.
- Resolve assigned Incidents and Service requests to be resolved within agreed SLA’s
- Timely Escalation of Incidents to L3 for faster resolution.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to resolve reported cases
- Assist cross functional team for speedy resolution of Incidents
- Identify systems which are nearing end of life and refresh in phased manner
- Assist Sr. Systems Engineers in continuous improvement initiatives
Job Requirements
Education:
- A degree or Diploma in Computers, Telecommunication or related discipline.
- MCSE certified
- Preferable ITIL Certified
Minimum Experience and Knowledge:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supporting core IT infrastructure in a large organization.
Knowledge of ITIL practices
