Job Description

Summary:

A leading company in the Tableware trade in Egypt needs to hire Showroom Manager who will be able to manage the showroom, leading growth and constant improvement of the showroom to achieve sales and generate profit while developing new business opportunities and increase customers' satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all sales orders implemented on daily basis to monitor sales activities.
  • Review quantity of products in showroom per category to ensure their availability for sales activities and request products from warehouse or other branches if needed.
  • Review all products records on the system to request providing new products to showroom in case of unavailability.
  • Review regular payment collection process to provide assistance if needed.
  • Inform supplier agents of customers' request of products that need to be imported to initiate the process.
  • Monitor changes affecting supply and demand, tracking market conditions, price trends, for future markets to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Submit monthly reports to management on sales activities to keep them informed with progress of sales.
  • Analyze reports quarterly and compare them with the historical information to monitor progress.
  • Prepare reports on regular clients and customers to be shared with the marketing team.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products to be able to meet the sales targets.
  • Follow up delivery of goods to customers, as well as, contacting customers to inform them of new products potential interest.
  • Train the sales representatives on representation, conduct, etiquette and ethics in meeting the client to ensure proper presentation of company and increase their ability to perform their job well.
  • Maintain showroom staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results to ensure their performance meets expectations.
  • Implement sales programs by developing sales action plans to achieve goals following methods of first in, first out (FIFO) to avoid having stagnant products.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as need to assist in meeting organizational goals.
  • Oversee and ensure the sparkling cleanliness of the showroom and follow up on the visits of the visual merchandiser.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, at least one of them in a similar position.
  • Product knowledge and experience in customer accounts and client relationship management.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable accounts receivable process.
  • Experience in working on ERP system is preferable.
  • Excellent command of English and French languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
