Job Description
- Receive and review list of required documents from customer service to initiate booking.
- Verify client data & quotation details on system and revert to customer service for correction if needed.
- Book containers and space according to customer service request, revert to customer service in case of unavailability of space/ containers.
- Issue booking confirmation and send to customer service.
- Issue Equipment release order on system.
- Receive final shipping declaration from customer service and review against booking confirmation and amend accordingly.
- Record final Shipping declaration details on system to issue B/L and send primary draft to customer service for customer confirmation.
- Receive customs documents, review against client primary draft and notify customer service in case of variances.
- Update equipment control once containers are filled and received from clients.
- Pack containers on system and send final draft to customer service for final confirmation, and amend if any.
- Notify finance with voyage rates readiness on system for issuing invoices.
- Update system with transshipment manifest.
- Issue Bill of lading according to client need (Original, telex release,….)
- Receive amendments request from customer service related to B/L and revert to department head for advice.
- Archive each shipment documents for each voyage.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Commerce, Awareness of Documentation cycle
- Years of experience: 1-2 years’
- Computer skills: MS Office
- Language skills: Very good command of English
